Doris R. Boggs

Doris R. Boggs, age 99, of Warsaw, Indiana, passed away on Saturday, December 26, 2020 at 10:13 PM in Mason Health and Rehabilitation Center, Warsaw. Doris was born October 8, 1921 in Hamilton, Ohio to Wilbur and May (Stuart) Zimmer.  She was united in marriage to Fred Boggs on May 16, 1942 in Warsaw, Indiana who passed away July 18, 1996. She lived most of her lifetime in Warsaw.  Doris was an office manager for Boggs Leasing.  She was a member of Walnut Creek United Methodist Church, Warsaw, and Crystal Home Extension Club. Doris is survived by children, Jim Boggs, of Warsaw, Judy Spiegel, Plymouth; sisters, Jean Titus, Texas, Mary Lou Keplinger, Warsaw; grandchildren, Cheryl Fouts, Warsaw, Tracy (Michael) Wilson, Leesburg, Kay (Bill) Kelly, Leesburg, Scott (Shelley) Boggs, Mentone, Shana Leed, Argos, Jaime (Bryan) Hall, Plymouth and numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.   She was preceded in death by husband, Fred Boggs, sisters, Leona Buhrt and Esther Wise, and grandson, Butch Boggs. A visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. to Noon on Tuesday, January 5, 2021 at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw. A funeral service will follow immediately at the funeral chapel with Pastor Stacy Downing officiating. Interment will follow at Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw. Due to current COVID-19 recommendations, masks are required.  The public is kindly requested to provide their own. Social distancing is strongly encouraged. No food permitted at this time.
