Donna M. Hahn left her earthly home for her eternal life on Thursday, March 26, 2020. A Celebration of Life Service will be held for Donna on Saturday, July 11, 2020 at 11:00 AM at the Warsaw Church of God.  McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw is entrusted with arrangements. Donna M. Hahn left her earthly home for her eternal life on Thursday, March 26, 2020. She was born to Lewis and Anna Mary (Rhodes) Jones on March 13, 1926 near Pierceton, Indiana. She was the sole survivor of ten children namely Maxine Gebert, Hayden Jones, Naomi Phebus, Savanna Lepley, Helen Mielke, Betty Wolfe, Hanna Waterson, Luranelle Gordon and Shirley Kreger. She was a graduated in 1944 from Pierceton High School along with her other siblings. She was united in marriage to Irvin R. Hahn in 1951: who passed in 2007, as did a daughter, Jacqueline Macaluso. A great-grandson Christopher D. DeVore died just after birth in 1983. Donna and Irv celebrated 52 years of marriage, which took them on Irv’s Engineering career to Ft. Wayne, IN, Grand Rapids, MI, Muncie, IN, Wabash, IN, Rochester, MI and finally to their retirement home. Besides enjoying being a Homemaker, her business career included a Sales Career with Chirco Homes and Realty in Utica, MI. She and her husband involved themselves in both church and community activities. She was an avid and longtime volunteer of the Salvation Army Auxiliary. She authored the book “Gifted Returned; My Fathers Robe” which was published in 2011. She moved from her home in Winona Lake to Lake City Place, an Assisted Living Community in Warsaw, in 2014. Survivors include daughter, Rebecca L. Nine of Winona Lake, IN; granddaughter, Kimberly McCord of Winona Lake, IN; great-grandchildren, Christopher, Sage and Liam and numerous nieces and nephews.
