Donna Lee Hamilton

Donna Lee (Weaver) Hamilton, age 80 went to be with her loved ones and maker at 5:51 p.m. May 8, 2013. Donna was born at her parents’ home, Chauncey Michael and Pearl Weaver in North Manchester, IN on March 31, 1933. She was married to James Niccum in 1950 and they were longtime residents of North Manchester. In 1992 she was preceded in death by her husband Jim and became a resident of Warsaw. Donna was married to the love of her life, companion and caregiver Walter Hamilton in 1991. Donna was a loving wife, great grandmother, grandmother and mother. She enjoyed camping with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren at Yogi Bear’s Jellystone Campground in Pierceton, IN. She loved spending time with her loved ones, her dogs Misty and Princess, summer days, crocheting, golf cart rides and fishing. Mrs. Hamilton was preceded in death by her beloved twin sons Terry and Larry Niccum. Donna is survived by her devoted and loving husband Walter Hamilton, two daughters, Rhonda Lewis and Cynthia (Sissy) Charlton, granddaughters Mikila Cook, Madison Charlton, grandson Mason Charlton, great-granddaughter Bailey Brown and great-grandson Nolan Cook. Donna is also survived by her step-children Mark and Lori Hamilton, Aimee and Jim Farmer, step-grandchildren Melissa, Kyle, Travis and Ric Hamilton, Step great-grandchildren Bradley, Autumn, Ivory and Mollie. Donna was cherished by all of her loved ones for her quick wit, bestowing of knowledge and undying love. She will be sadly missed by all and forever loved. To our mother, grandmother, great grandmother and to the wife of Walter Hamilton may you rest in peace, we love you- forever and always. Funeral services for Donna will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, May 11, 2013 at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw with Professor Luke Hunt officiating the service. Burial will be at the South Whitley Cemetery, South Whitley, Indiana. Visitation will be from 4:00 – 7:00 pm Friday, May 10, 2013 at the funeral chapel.
