Donna L. Garber, 87, passed away peacefully at 8:10 p.m. on Friday January 9, 2026, at Miller’s Merry Manor in Warsaw, surrounded by her loving family.
Born on March 11, 1938, in Plymouth, Indiana, Donna was the daughter of Lloyd and Evelyn (Falconbury) Atchison.
In Plymouth, Indiana on July 21, 1954, Donna was united in holy matrimony to Frank D. Garber. They would make Warsaw their home forever and welcome two sons, Frank Jr. and John “Jack”. Donna was the Founder and co-owner of Garber Aluminum Foundry.
She was a faithful member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. She was a dedicated Catholic for over 50 years and loved serving her Lord and Savior. She loved her family immensely and enjoyed spending time together, making memories. Her and Frank took many trips to Las Vegas and loved their time together. Donna enjoyed the outdoors and enjoyed fishing and was an avid fan of the Los Angeles Dodgers.
Donna will be remembered as a kind, giving, loving soul, who poured her heart into her family as well as her other endeavors.
Donna is survived by her sons: Franklin Delano Garber Jr. and Jack “John” Fitzgerald (Jenny) Garber: grandchildren, Keith (Dacy) Newman, Rebekah (Andrew) Mitchell, Courtney (Tyler) Hodson, and Ben Garber, as well as many great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Frank Sr. in 2008, grandchild Chasity Delashmutt: brother, Mike Atchison: sister, Joanne Rife, her parents, and a daughter-in-law, Ranae Garber.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday January 14, 2026 from 5-7:00 pm at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapels, 2290 Provident Court, Warsaw.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 15, 2026, at 12:00 pm at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapels with Father Francis Mwanje officiating. A Rosary will be recited prior to his service.
Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
