Donna E. Konkle

Donna E. Konkle, 87 of Warsaw, Indiana passed away at 8:23am Wednesday, January 7, 2015 in Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw. On March 13, 1927, she was born in Kosciusko County, Indiana to George Eldon and Nellie LaFern (Mock) Tenney. She was united in marriage to Ralph Devon Konkle on March 1, 1946 in Warsaw. He preceded her in death on March 4, 2008. Donna was a graduate of North Webster High School, Class of 1945. She was a member of Warsaw First Brethren Church. She enjoyed playing solitaire, reading, baking, cooking and doing crossword puzzles. She is survived by her daughter, Brenda (and spouse Ronald) Snider, Warsaw; three grandchildren, Scott (and spouse Katie) Snider, Indianapolis, Carlye Snider, Warsaw, Kelli Snider, Warsaw and her sister, Eleanor LaFern Gates, Pierceton. Donna was also preceded in death by her daughter, Andrea Sue Konkle and her sister, Marjorie Lorraine LaRue. A funeral service will be at 12:00 pm Friday, January 9, 2015 in McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw with Pastor Howard Immel officiating. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw. Visitation hours will be from 4:00 – 7:00 pm Thursday, January 8, 2015 in the funeral chapel.
