Donald Kollman, age 83, of Warsaw, Indiana passed away at 9:30 AM Wednesday, July 10, 2013 in Mason Health Care and Rehabilitation of Warsaw, Indiana. On May 20, 1930, he was born in Indianapolis, Indiana to Frank L. and Viola (Overhiser) Kollmann. He married Tammy Schultz Pozorski on February 13, 2013 in Warsaw, Indiana, who survives. Donald moved to Warsaw in 1962, where he was former president of Kosciusko County Collection and manager of Kosciusko County Reporting. He then owned Northern Indiana Recovery and AAA Vehicle Lockout Service, Warsaw. He also drove vans for Explorer Van, for several years, to various places for transport. Donald served our country in the U.S. Army. He was a member of American Legion Post #49, Warsaw and the Moose Lodge, Warsaw. He was survived by his wife, Tammy Pozorski Kollmann, Warsaw; his step daughter, Crystal Marsillett, Warsaw; two grandchildren, Trinity and Logan, Warsaw; a brother, Richard (and spouse Ollie) Kollmann, Fort Lauderdale, Florida; a sister, Dorothy Weaver, Indianapolis; three nephews, Keith Kollmann, Kevin Kollmann and Larry Weaver and a niece, Catherine Smith. Donald was preceded in death by his parents, a niece Karen Green and his best friend, Charlie Johnson. A graveside service is scheduled for 1:00 pm Friday, August 16, 2013 in Oakwood Cemetery, Legion Circle, Warsaw with Pastor Dennis Bollenbacher officiating. Military honors will be provided by American Legion Post #49 and VFW Post #1126, Warsaw. McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw is in charge of arrangements.
