(October 02, 1938 - March 31, 2021 ) Don E Hanft Don E Hanft was born to the late Everett and Eva (Weaver) Hanft in Warsaw, Indiana October 2, 1938. He was an owner of Fitch’s Jewelry Store early in his career and an avid watchmaker for most of his life. He retired from the jewelry business a few years after moving to Richmond, Texas nearly 15 years ago with wife, Beverly Hanft. His true passion was fast cars. Don was proud of his list of previously owned cars such as ’57 Chevy and his personally restored Austin Healey. Don was soft spoken but would often have some quick comebacks. He had a great sense of humor and a deep love for his family. Don is preceded in death by his parents and oldest son, Brett Hanft. Don is survived by his wife, Beverly Hanft; furbaby, Toby; daughter, Kelly Boley (husband Tony); grandkids, Ross and Grant Clemens; son, Kyle Hanft (wife Rhonda); grandkids, Stuart and Braxton Hanft; daughter, Krista Nicholson; grandkids, Lauren Miller, Logan and Keaton Irwin; son, Bart Hanft (wife Cathy); grandkids, Eva and Erik Hanft; stepsons, Matt Buchman (wife Pam); grandkids, Courtney (wife Kelsi) and Cameron Buchman; Craig (wife Tina); grandkids, Alex and Ethan Buchman; Scott (wife Alanna); grandkids, Isabel and Abbey Buchman. Don will be deeply missed by all his friends, family and all who knew him. In lieu of flowers, please make a contribution to a charity of your choice.
