Dolores A, Pittenger, 90, of 337 Grace Village Drive Winona Lake, Indiana , died on 2/18/2009 at 5:20 PM at Grace Village Health Care Center Winona Lake, Indi. She was born on March 1, 1918 in Warsaw, Indiana. Dolores was born to Glenn G. and Floe (Walters) Smith. She was a lifetime resident of Kosciusko County, IN.. She was united in marriage on May 27, 1943 to William M. “Bill” Pittenger in Miami Beach, Florida. Dolores retired from the Arnholt Corporation Warsaw, IN. in 1954. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church Warsaw, In.. Dolores was a 60 year member of the Order of the Eastern Star, a 60 year member of the American Legion Auxillary, Post 49, Warsaw, IN., a 60 year member of the Lambda Chi Omega Soroity, a 60 plus year member of the Warsaw Women's Bowling Association where she was inducted into the orginal Hall of Fame. Dolores was preceeded by her husband Bill on September 2, 1998 and one brother. Services will be held at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel - Warsaw on Monday, February 23, 2009 at 11:00 AM. Calling hours will be One Hour prior to the service on Monday, February 23, 2009. Burial will be at Oakwood Cemetery - Warsaw, IN.
