DJ Eckert, 46 of Warsaw, Indiana passed away Monday May 13, 2019 at 1:15 a.m. in his residence. He was born March 20, 1973 to Michael Eckert and Tony Howard in Greenville, Ohio. DJ was a fun loving life kind of guy, who loved to cook and was very passionate about it!! Those who had the pleasure of knowing him knows that he had a very kind hearted soul! He was a terrific friend, wonderful son, a great uncle and the best brother anyone could ask for!! He will be missed be so many. DJ is survived by his grandmother, Darlene Eckert, of North Manchester, his mother, Tony Howard of Rochester Indiana, his Father and step mother, Mike and Janet Eckert, of Birchwood, Wisconsin and his sister and a nephew Tammy and Connor Eckert of Franklin, Indiana. A celebration of DJ’s life will be held on Monday May 20, 2019 from 4:00 pm. to 7:00 p.m. at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw. Burial will be private. The family is requesting that memorial donations be made to the family c/o McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, 2290 Provident Court, Warsaw, Indiana 46580.
