She was born on November 27, 1940 in Wilmot, Indiana. Dixies Parents were the late Charles and Maxine (Ulrey) Scott. A lifetime resident of Kosciusko County. She married David Hoffer in Louisville, Kentucky on August 28, 1984. Dixie was a Beautician in the Warsaw and North Webster area.She is survived by her husband Dave Hoffer of Warsaw, IndianaOne daughter Vikki (and spouse Sam) Shaw of Leesburg, IndianaOne son Scott (and spouse Melanie) Mickley of Kimmel, IndianaTwo step daughters Leah May of Warsaw, Indiana and Brita (and spouse Travis) Greer of Warsaw, IndianaTen grandchildren and Thirteen great - grandchildren Services will be held at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel - Warsaw on Friday, February 19, 2010 at 10:00 AM. Calling hours will be 4-8 pm on Thursday, February 18, 2010. Burial will be at Leesburg Cemetery - Leesburg, IN. McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel - Warsaw is in charge of arrangements.
