Dick Harvey, age 78, of Warsaw, Indiana passed away Monday March 4, 2013 at 12:10 Am in his residence. He was born August 13, 1934 in Wabash, IN to J.B. and Delight (Lindemuth) Harvey. He was united in marriage to Dawn Graves. Their union lasted 52 wonderful years. Dick faithfully served his country from August 20, 1951 to August 5, 1955 in the United Sates Navy aboard the Destroyer USS Eversole DD789 as a Boatswain’s Mate during the Korean Conflict. After the cease fire on July 27, 1953 the Eversole was deployed to the Formosa Straits (now the Taiwan Straits). He was a self-employed exterminator for over 50 years as Owner/Operator of Warsaw Pest Control. His memberships include life membership in the following organizations: American Legion Post 15 of Wabash, IN, the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 286 of Wabash, IN, Korean War Veterans Association, the National Rifle Association and Ducks Unlimited. Survivors include his wife Dawn Harvey of Warsaw, IN; son Bret (spouse Sarah) Adams Harvey of Huntington, IN, grandchildren Claire Harvey and Will Harvey of Huntington, IN.
