Diane Kay Jones

Revision: A Celebration of Life  for Diane (Helvey) Jones will be held on Saturday October 18, 2025 from 12:00 pm - 3:00 pm at the Warsaw Evangelical Presbyterian Church, 210 S. High Street, Warsaw, Indiana.

Diane (Helvey) Jones, 68, of Warsaw, IN, passed away on September 21, 2025.

Diane was born on April 29, 1957 in Warsaw, Indiana to Jack and M. Elaine (Long) Helvey. She graduated from Warsaw Community High School in 1975.

Diane worked at various places including Harvey’s Mart, LM Berry, and Times Union; retiring from DePuy Synthes with 24 years of service.

Diane was full of life and fun. With Diane there was never a dull moment, she lit up any room she was in. She loved to make people laugh, take funny pictures and just be a hoot. Although Diane never had children, she loved children and they loved her. She made them laugh and sometimes got them in trouble.

Diane cherished her mother, sisters, nephew and niece, as well as so many friends and their families.

Diane will be lovingly remembered by her mother Elaine, sisters: Debra Miller, Silver Lake, IN, Penny Helvey, Warsaw, IN, nephew Neil Harris, Silver Lake, IN and niece Amy Harris, New Albany, IN. She is preceded in death by her father.

Arrangements are through McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapels. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
