Dewey L. Lawshe

Dewey L. Lawshe, 69 of Warsaw, Indiana passed away at 12:10 am, March 25, 2012 in his residence. On March 15, 1943, he was born to Wilson and Dixie (Dykes) Lawshe in Warsaw. He was a lifetime resident of Warsaw. Dewey worked as a million miler driver for Schneider Transport for 10 years and was a licensed barber since 1962. He also served as City Council At Large for the City of Warsaw from 1996 - 2000. Dewey was a member of Elks Lodge #802 and Moose Lodge #1423, Warsaw. He enjoyed golfing and fishing and spending time at the Alpine Resort in Roseneath, Canada and Rozella Ford Community Golf Course, Warsaw. He is survived by his daughter, Shanda (and spouse Chris) Sanchez, Warsaw; three grandchildren; Phillip R. Robinson, Alexandria L. Sanchez and Mercedes N. Sanchez; a sister, Beverly Foulkrod, Medicine Lodge, Kansas and his companion, Betty Bayne, Warsaw. There are no visitation and services planned. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw at a later date. McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw is in charge of arrangements.
