Dewey was born to Tom and Katie (Spencer) Yates. He was a resident of Warsaw for 59 years. He married Bethel Gibson, whom preceded him in death in 1990. Dewey then married Josephine Reffitt Ousley Haywood on October 26, 1990 in Warsaw.He retired from Creighton Brothers Inc., Warsaw as a Layer Manager. Calling hours will be 2:00 - 5:00 pm and a church service at 7:00 pm at the church on Tuesday, March 9, 2010. Burial will be at Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw, Indiana.
