Dewain “Uncle Dewy” Elton Ott, 57 of Warsaw passed away Sunday November 4, 2018 at 4:10 a.m. in Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw. He was born on January 3, 1961 to John Tites and Rose Katherine (McFarlend) Ott in Rainsville, Alabama. He is survived by his daughter, Tabatha Ott Reed, Rainsville and the rest of his loving family, James Carpenter, North Webster, Angel Carpenter, Warsaw, Chasity Carpenter, Warsaw Troy Carpenter, North Webster, and Johnny Carpenter, Hartselle, Alabama. He is preceded by his parents, 2 sisters and 1 brother. “Uncle Dewy” was a loving and caring person who will be missed dearly by many. Visitation will be on Thursday November 8, 2018 from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw. A funeral service will follow at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral chapel with Chaplain Bob Jarboe officiating. Interment will take place in Alabama.
