Delbert F. Sams, Ii

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, June 27, 2020 at 11:00 AM at Hillcrest Cemetery, Pierceton with Pastor Jim Baughman officiating. Delbert Francis Sams II, age 56, of Pierceton, Indiana, passed away at 1:51 AM on Saturday, June 6, 2020 at Kosciusko Community Hospital. Delbert was born on August 3, 1963 in Milford, Ohio to Brenda Alexander and Delbert Sams Jr. He was a 1982 Whitko High School graduate. He was a former employee for Uniroyal/PolyOne for 12 years. He then went to work for Gill Manufacturing as a factory worker for 14 years, where he was currently employed. In 1984 he was united in marriage to Tammy Wright having a family of two children together. Delbert is survived by one son, Derrick (Cherish) Sams; one daughter, Karey (Ryan) Sams, both of Van Wert, OH; one brother, William Alexander of Gainesville, VA. In addition, he is survived by 4 granddaughters, Aaliyah, Delaney, Kaylee, and Peyton, one grandson Raiden all of Van Wert, OH. He was preceded in death by his mother. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, June 27, 2020 at 11:00 AM at Hillcrest Cemetery, Pierceton, IN. Pastor Jim Baughman will be officiating. All arrangements for the family are entrusted to McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw.
