Deborah Ruch

Deborah Kay Ruch, 71, of Warsaw, passed away at her residence the evening of Sunday May 24, 2026.

Graveside services will be held at 1:30 PM on Thursday, June 25, 2026 at Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw, with Pastor Larry Burkhart officiating.

Born on September 2, 1954, in Warsaw, she was the beloved daughter of Paul and Mildred (Morrison) Behnke Jr.

Deborah was a graduate of Warsaw High School in 1973. Warsaw is where she called home her entire life. She had many different jobs over the years, her last being a custodian at her cherished Warsaw High School. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Post #49. She loved music, dancing, and her moped which happened to be her favorite color pink.

Left to honor Deborah’s memory are her brother Larry (Tammy) Behnke of Warsaw, nephews; Matthew and Nathaniel (Megan) Behnke, her aunts, several cousins, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her son Daniel Earl, and her grandparents.

Memorial donations in Deborah’s honor may be made to McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, 2290 Provident Court, Warsaw, Indiana 46580, to help the family with expenses.
