Deborah A. Hohman, 56, of 8404 South 500 West Silver Lake, Indiana, died on 5/15/2009 at 6:00 AM at her residence. She was born on September 24, 1952 in LaPorte, Indiana. Deborah was born to Donald Max and Margaret Helen (Downs) Weaver. She was a Kosciusko County, Indiana resident since 1986. She was united in marriage to Kevin Hohman on December 26, 1986 in LaPorte, Indiana. Deborah was an Elementary School Teacher for Leesburg Elementary and Eisenhower Elementary Schools of the Warsaw Community School System. She taught Kindergarten and served since 1987. She was fond of dogs and was active in the Fort Wayne, Indiana Obedience and Agility Club and the ECHO Dog and Obedience Club. She served as a State Judge in Dog Agility for the Indiana 4-H and was also active in the Kosciusko County 4-H Club. She was a Blue Ribbon winner numerous times in Obedience and Agility on a State-Wide Level. Deborah is survived by her loving family including her husband Kevin Hohman of Silver Lake, Indiana; her father Donald M. Weaver of LaPorte, Indiana; her sister Terri (spouse Mike) Clayton of Danville, Illinois and her nieces Lauren and Joanna Clayton both of Danville, Illinois. She was preceded by her mother, Margaret. Funeral service will be privately held and not open to the public. Burial will be at a time of private choosing by the family. McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel - Warsaw, Indiana is in charge of arrangements. In lieu of floral offerings the family has kindly requested donations in Deborah's memory be made to the Deborah and Kevin Hohman Animal Care Scholarship Fund C/O the Kosciusko Community Foundation 102 East Market Street Warsaw, Indiana 46580
