David R. Hoagland

David R. Hoagland, 56, of Warsaw, passed away on Wednesday, June 14, 2023 at Lutheran Hospital in Ft. Wayne.

David was born in Warsaw, Indiana on May 18, 1967 to J.R. and Sandy (Allen). He graduated from Warsaw High School worked his younger years at Marsh Supermarket stocking shelves and as a carry out boy.

He most recently drove taxi and was a delivery driver.

David was a good son and enjoyed family gatherings. He loved boating, being on his pontoon and water skiing with friends.

He is survived by his father, J.R. Hoagland of Warsaw and his partner, Debbie Sponseller; his mother Sandy Hoagland of Warsaw; his brothers Rob (Dawn) Hoagland of Bradenton, FL and Michael (Susan) Hoagland of Warsaw; his aunt Addy Swanson of Atwood and many nieces and nephews.

David was preceded in death by his aunt Evon.

A gathering of friends and family will be held on Monday, June 19, 2023 form 5-7 p.m. at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, 2290 Provident Court, Warsaw.

Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, June 20, 2023 at the South Pleasant Methodist Church Cemetery, 5064 W. 1400 N., North Manchester, IN.
