David M. Morgan

David M. Morgan, 68, of Claypool passed away on October 3, 2018 at 1:50 PM in his residence.On October 15, 1949 he was born in Onieda, New York to Donald and Icy Mae (Ackley) Morgan. On September 11, 1970 he was united in marriage to Roslynn A. “Roz” Wagner in San Antonio, Texas. He attended Perry High School in Perry, New York and then Ivy Tech in Fort Wayne, Indiana where he earned a degree in Automotive Engineering. He proudly served his country in the United States Army from 1967 to 1971 where he earned the Rank of Sergeant E-5 as a Medic during the Vietnam Era. He worked maintenance for Our Fathers House in Warsaw for 20 years. He was a member of the American Legion Post 49 in Warsaw. He is survived by his wife Roslynn “Roz” and son David D. Morgan of Claypool. He is further survived by his sisters; Marie Morgan of Warsaw, Gladys Morelli of Rochester, New York, Christine Morgan of Rochester, New York, Debbie Vallejo of Warsaw, Madeline Collins of Rochester, New York and Peggy Morgan of Warsaw. Also surviving are his granddaughters; Ashley Christine Brandon of Leesburg and Lindsey Nicole Morgan of Warsaw. He was preceded by his parents and a brother; Averil Morgan. A visitation will be held on Sunday, October 7, 2018 from 1:00 to 4:00 PM in McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel in Warsaw. A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 8, 2018 at 10:00 AM in McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel in Warsaw with Ken Locke officiating. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery with Military Honors rendered by American Legion Post #49 and V.F.W. Post #1126. Memorials may be made to Our Fathers House, 2114 E.
