David E. Gaskill

David E. Gaskill, 63, of Goshen, passed away with family by his bedside on Friday June 19, 2026 after his brief stay at Warsaw Meadows Care Center in Warsaw.

Lifetime Goshen resident, David was born on September 18, 1962 to Leonard Gaskill and Patricia (Mock) Hover. He graduated from Goshen High School.

He enjoyed working for E.C. Woods in Middlebury until he had to step down due to health reasons.

David is dearly missed by his mother, Pat Hover, of Warsaw; children: David (Katy) Gaskill of Bristol, James (Cathy Wilson) Gaskill of Bristol and McKayla Laudeman of Goshen; step-children, Kristi Acord of Goshen and T.J. Falin of Middlebury; 8 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren; his siblings, Cathy Gaskill of Warsaw and Rusty (Denise) Ritter of Warsaw; step-siblings, Mary (Kurt) Carlson of Warsaw and Ed (Janel) Hover of Warsaw; great friends, Keli and Tim Rose of Middlebury; and step-mother, Annette Gaskill of Goshen.

He was preceded in death by his father, Leonard; step-father, Dennis Hover; and nieces, Jennifer and Heather Emelio.

Per his wishes, cremation will take place and a private celebration of his life will be held.
