Daryl Bilderback

Daryl R. Bilderback, 84 of Silver Lake, IN. passed away Friday, July 21, 2023 at Parkview Whitley Hospital, Columbia City, IN. Daryl was born on June 8, 1939 to Lymon and Helen G. (LeMasters) Bilderback in New Waverly, MS.

On March 31, 1962 he was united in marriage to Janet Davis in Harvey, IL.

He proudly served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict.

He was an Operating Engineer for Local 150 Union for 50 years as a Heavy Equipment Operator. He mainly worked on roads in the Chicago land area.

Daryl’s favorite was working on cars. He most of all enjoyed being with his family.

Daryl is survived by his children, Joe (Denise) Bilderback, Columbia City, In., Candi (Brad) Castle, Lowell, In., Leslee (Robert) Brunton, Warsaw, In., and Stephanie Bilderback, Warsaw, In.; 9 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Also, he has a sister, Bev Yandle, Ocala, FL., two brother Tom (Waverly, TN) and Jim Bilderback, New Jersey. He is preceded in death by his parents, one brother, one sister, one granddaughter, Taylor and his wife, Janet.

Private burial will take place in Graceland Cemetery
