Darryll Thomas Hunter Sr., 75, of Claypool, Indiana, died on 5/31/2010 at 9:10 am at his residence. He was born on February 28, 1935 in Warsaw, Indiana. Darryll was born to Arthur L. Hunter and Maude (Sickafus) Shumar. He married Alice Lambert on May 9, 1975 in Lawrenceburg, Indiana. During his lifetime he worked as a teacher and he also worked at Conrail and Kralis, then he retired from Utilimaster in Wakarusa, Indiana in 2008.He graduated from Grace College. He served in the United States Air Force from 1954 - 1958.he is survived by his wife; Alice (Lambert) Hunter, Claypool, Indiana2 Sons; Darryll Hunter Jr., Warsaw,IndianaJeffrey Hunter (Amanda Fountain), Claypool, Indiana2 daughters; Connie (William) Puckett, Claypool, IndianaMr. and Mrs. Schoettmer.1 brother; Cliff Hunter, Florida12 grandchildren and 10 great great grandchildren.he is preceded in death by his parents, a daughter, 2 brothers and a sister. Services will be held at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw, Indiana on Thursday, June 3, 2010 at 2:00 pm. Calling hours will be 12:00 noon - 2:00 pm at the funeral chapel on Thursday, June 3, 2010. Burial will be at Graceland Cemetery, Claypool, Indiana. McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw, Indiana is in charge of arrangements.
