Darren Burchett

Darren Burchett, 36, of Warsaw, Indiana, passed away on Thursday, February 29, 2024 in Larwill.

Darren was born on November 9, 1987 in Warsaw and was the son of Dan and Wendy (Blanton) Burchett.

He worked as a parts delivery driver for Toyota in Warsaw and was the lead guitarist for the band Total Head Case. Darren loved to cook, especially anything red meat. He was a great dad and loved his cats.

Darren will be lovingly remembered by his fiancé Melissa Rice of Warsaw; stepchildren Zidion Rose of Warsaw and Bee Rose of California; his father Dan (Fiancé JoAnna Surface) Burchett of Columbia City; paternal grandmother Lorene Shull of Kendallville; Aunt Patty Reynolds of Kendallville, Uncle Bob (Carol) Burchett of Warsaw, Uncle Larry (Sharon) Blanton of Warsaw, several cousins, and his band family Don, Chris, Nick, and Paul. He was preceded in passing by his mother Wendy Burchett, and maternal grandparents.

A visitation with family and friends will be from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Wednesday, March 6, 2024 in McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapels, 2290 Provident Ct. Warsaw.

Funeral services in celebration of Darren’s life will begin at 7:00 PM on Wednesday, March 6, 2024 in the funeral chapel with Pastor Glenn Hall officiating.
