Danny West

Danny W. West, 73, of Warsaw passed away on Wednesday, April 17, 2019 at 10:10 PM in Peabody Health Care in North Manchester. He was born on March 17, 1946 in Wabash to Glenn and Mayme (Clark) West. He was united in marriage on May 7, 1971 in Tokyo, Japan to Yoshiko Kameyama who preceded him in death on February 4, 2014. He was a Warsaw resident since 1992 moving here from Aiea, HI. He proudly served in the United States Navy from 1968 to 1992 serving as an E6 Petty Officer 1st Class with the Seabees. After retiring from the Navy he was a dispatcher for Explorer Van. He was a member of the American Legion Post #49, North Manchester Moose Lodge, Warsaw Masonic Lodge #73, Fort Wayne Valley Scottish Rite, Mizpah Shrine and Kosciusko County Shrine Club. He is survived by his siblings; Nancy Coble of North Manchester, Sonda Coble of South Whitley and Terry (and spouse Edith) of Warsaw. He is further survived by numerous nieces and nephews and very special friend and neighbor Sharon Gaff. He was preceded by his wife, parents and brothers; Robert “Bob” West, Russell “Donny” West and Dickie West. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 23, 2019 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM in McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel in Warsaw. A private funeral service will be held at a later date.
