Daniel James Michael “D.J.” Kreider

Daniel James “D.J.” Kreider, age 36, of Winona Lake, IN, passed away on Saturday, August 1, 2020.  Daniel was born on July 19, 1984 in Warsaw, IN to James Kelly and Tina (Kreider) Patrick. D.J. was employed as a forklift operator for Builders Mart and Premier Concepts.   He enjoyed spending time with his children, fishing, playing games on Xbox, loved Dragons and Batman, and learning Archery. He was known to be very outgoing, “goofy”, laid back, and easy to talk to and joke with. Daniel is survived by mother, Tina (Michael) Patrick of Winona Lake; Fiancé, Cassandra Frantz, of Winona Lake; children, Nicholas Kreider, Matthew Kreider, Areil Barr; aunts, Chris Kreider of Silver Lake, Ronda Ashby of Etna Green; maternal grandmother, Linda Poe of Winona Lake. In addition, he was survived by brothers, David Watkins of Winona Lake, Charles Kreider of Warsaw; 1 niece and 2 nephews. He was preceded in death by 2 nephews, 1 brother, 1 sister, maternal grandfather, and both paternal grandparents. **Masks are required. The public is kindly requested to provide their own. A visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon on Wednesday,  August 12, 2020 with a funeral service following immediately at Noon at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw with Pastor Reg Overstreet officiating.
