Dale W. Wright

Dale W. Wright, 96 of Pierceton, Indiana passed away at 11:38 pm Saturday, September 5, 2015 in Millers Merry Manor, Warsaw. On April 3, 1919, he was born in Warsaw, Indiana to Hal and Sylvia Wright. He was united in marriage to Doris E. Pletcher on July 3, 1940 in Warsaw. Doris preceded him in death on October 9, 2004. A lifetime resident of Kosciusko County, Dale worked as a farmer, postal carrier and postmaster for Pierceton, retiring in 1980. He was a member of Morris Chapel United Methodist Church, and Elks Lodge, Warsaw. He is survived by two daughters, Janet (and spouse Brent) Leifer, Las Vegas, Nevada and Cinda Cone, Alexandria; his son, Hal (and spouse Mary) Wright, Pierceton; his sister, Mary Katherine (and spouse Joe) Gray, Muncie; six grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren and two step grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by his son-in-law, Garth Cone. Private services will be held at Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw. McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw was entrusted with the arrangements.
