A Private Family graveside service for Cynthia “Cindy” Owens will be held on Saturday, July 25, 2020 at Lakeview Cemetery, Silver Lake, IN with Pastor Denny Wilson officiating. Cynthia “Cindy” Ann Owens, age 65, of Silver Lake, IN, passed away on Saturday, September 7, 2019 at 5:20 p.m. in Silver Lake, IN. Cindy was born on November 25, 1953 in Warsaw, IN to James and Myrtle (Byrer) Bishop. She was united in marriage to Daniel Owens on November 21, 2015 in Silver Lake, IN. She graduated from Warsaw Community High School in 1972 and continued on to receive a degree from Wayne Cosmetology School in 1974. Cindy was the owner of Cindy’s Oil Cup & Back Porch Bait Store in Silver Lake of which she was quite proud. She was also formerly employed by Paragon Medical from 1997 until she retired in 2015 as a customer service representative. She attended Warsaw Community Church where she served in the Sunday School and Pre-School Ministries. Cindy is survived by husband Daniel Owens of Silver Lake, IN, children; Amanda (Jason Rivich) Miller of Winona Lake, IN, Jason (Alecia) Miller of Wilmington, NC, Travis (Katie) Miller of Warsaw, IN, Shawnte (Michael) Frieden of Roann, IN, Austin (Corrine) Owens of Warsaw, IN, Danielle (Logan Frye) Owens of Warsaw, IN, siblings; Robert “Bob” (Waneta) Bishop of Leesburg, IN, Larry (Emily) Bishop of Milford, IN, and Judy (Dave) McIntire of South Bend, IN. In addition, Cindy is survived by grandchildren; Erin, Ethan, Michael, Sofia, Samuel, Lucas, Grayson, Landon, Amarah, Braylon, Presley, Korbin, Nora Lee and Ayla. She is preceded in death by her parents. Friends may visit with the family on Monday, September 16, 2019 from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the Warsaw Community Church. Her funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 17, 2019 also at the Warsaw Community Church with Pastor Denny Wilson officiating.
