Curtis Ousley Jr., 64 of Claypool passed away on May 24, 2019 at 11:25 AM in V.A. Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne. He was born on January 30, 1955 in Prestonsburg, Kentucky to Curtis and Ruth (Hall) Ousley Sr. On December 2, 1994 he was united in marriage to Linda Jackson in Van Wert, Ohio. A lifetime Kosciusko County resident he was owner and founder of Chopper’s Exotic where he raised lions, tigers, cougars, bears, monkeys and other exotic animals. He was an active member of the N.R.A. He proudly served his Country in the United States Army. He is survived by his wife Linda, children; William Hunt of Mentone, Tanesha Hunt of Fort Wayne, Jamie (and spouse Latasha) Hunt of Warsaw and Jesse (and spouse Heather) Hunt of Warsaw. He is further survived by his siblings; Troy (and spouse Janet) Ousley of Claypool and Deborah (and spouse Terry) Kreft of Claypool along with 17 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. He was preceded by his mother in 2015 and his father in 2018. His Funeral Service will be held in McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw Wednesday May 29, 2019 at 11:00 AM, Pastor Glenn Hall officiating. Visitation will be two hours prior on Wednesday May 29, 2019 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Interment will be in Graceland Cemetery in Claypool with Military Honors. Memorials may be made to the Curtis Ousley Jr. Family in care of McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, 2290 Provident Court, Warsaw, IN. 46580.
