Curt N. Gatke

Curt N. Gatke, 64 of Warsaw, Indiana passed away at 10:50 am Friday, February 5, 2016 in Lutheran Hospital of Indiana, Fort Wayne. On June 9, 1951, he was born in Warsaw, Indiana to Donald E. and Lucile (Andrus) Gatke. He was a lifetime resident of Warsaw where he was a client of Cardinal Service, Warsaw. Curt was a sweet and kind person who was very gentle and loving. He had a great sense of humor and enjoyed little children. Curt enjoyed bowling, playing puzzles, eating and he enjoyed listening to all types of music. His father was a member of the board of directors at Cardinal Services until the time of his death. Curt is survived by two brothers, Edward A. (and spouse Betty) Gatke, Fort Wayne, Tom (and spouse Connie) Gatke, Westport; his sister-in-law, Linda Gatke, Warsaw; his brothers at his home, Nate Wilkinson and Mark Warren, Warsaw. He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers, Peter Gatke, Skip Gatke and Dennis Gatke. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, March 12, 2016 in McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw with Chaplain Bob Jarboe of Kosciusko Homecare and Hospice officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw at a later date. Memorial contributions in Curt’s name may be made to Cardinal Service, 504 North Bay Street, Warsaw, Indiana 46580.
