Connie Sue (Long) Fannin, age 66, of North Webster, Indiana passed away Tuesday, May 28, 2013 at 7:30 AM in Mason Health Care and Rehabilitation Warsaw, Indiana. On March 4, 1947, she was born in Warsaw to William F. and Carol Sue (Shambarger) Long. Connie had lived in Florida for several years before moving back to the Warsaw area. She worked as a beautician for Betty's Hair Salon, and then Zimmer Inc., Warsaw until moving to Florida where she was a self employed beautician. Connie enjoyed spending time with her friends known as “The Hoosier Honey Bees” and also enjoyed spending time with her great grandchildren and her family. Connie is survived by her son, James “Bo” (and his wife Amanda) Fleming, Warsaw; two brothers, Allen Lee Long, South Carolina and Bill (and his wife Vicky) Long Jr., Warsaw; her granddaughter, Danielle Smith, Warsaw; two great grandchildren, Beauden Smith-Blessing and Remington Sue Fleming Maze both of Warsaw and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Rhonda Fleming Cole and her parents. A memorial service will be held at 6:00 pm Friday, May 31, 2013 at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw with Pastor William Whitaker officiating. Burial will be at a later date. Visitation hours will be from 3:00 - 6:00 pm Friday at the funeral chapel. Memorial contributions are to be made to CollegeChoice Advisor 529 Savings Plan for an education fund to be set up for Connie's great grandchildren.
