Connie J. Wyckoff, 89, peacefully passed away in her home on Friday, May 17, 2024 surrounded by the love of her children.
Connie was born in April 26, 1935 in Avondale, West Virginia to Dexter and Mary (Dale) Christian.
In their hometown of Avondale, Connie was united in marriage to Cecil “Jimmy” Addair in 1949. They would welcome their loving children before his passing in 1988.
On November 18, 1993 in Warsaw, Connie married Andrew Lee Wyckoff.
She worked as a manager at Penguin Point in Warsaw for 32 years. Her main ambition in life after being baptized was to lead others to Christ. She evangelized with Andy for 11 years at Windows of Heavens Ministry in Pierceton as well as traveling to local nursing homes and many states. Church was her life. After their church closed, they became members of Warsaw Family Worship Center. Connie helped with Sunday School, woman’s ministry and any other tasks the church needed help with.
Outside of her love for Jesus, Connie was a hard-working woman who raised 10 kids and instilled in them to never tell a lie, a very good work ethic, to be kind to others and did her best to make her children come to know the Lord as their Savior. She was a beautiful woman, full of care and love, a social butterfly and gave to others before thinking about herself. Connie enjoyed garage sales, but loved having her own so that she could be sure to talk to every single person who came to her home.
Connie is missed by her children: Nancy Meyer of Columbia City, Michael Addair of Ieager, WVA, Wayne Addair of Warsaw, Tracy Bloom-Kenney of Warsaw, Rick Addair of Pierceton and Leta Addair of Claypool; step-children, Mitzi Christ and Becky Marti; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren as well as her sister, Alice Addair of Bland, VA.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Jimmy and Andy; daughters, Joyce Bostic, Donna Addair Hazel Addair and Susan Stafford; and several siblings including: Mary Addair, Crocket Christian, Farley Christian and Daisy Slack.
