Cleon Marsh, 81, of Warsaw, Indiana, died on 6/13/2009 at 3:06 pm at en route to Miller's Merry Manor. He was born on September 14, 1927 in Hartford City, Indiana. Cleon is the son of Norval and Eureka Marsh. He grew up in Portland, Indiana and graduated from Portland High School in 1945. Cleon served in the U.S. Army following high school graduation. He attended Indiana University for 2 years, transferring to Ball State University where he met his sweetheart, Evelyn Rarick. he received his teaching degree from Manchester College and his master's degree from University of Saint Francis. Cleon has resided in Warsaw since joining Evelyn in marriage in 1950. he began his 36 year teaching profession, teaching in Kosciusko County including Burket, Silver Lake, Etna Green, Pierceton and retiring from Whitko. he was a member of Kosciusko County Retired Teachers Association, Warsaw Masonic Lodge, Scottish Rite, Mizpah Shrine, Elks and American Legion. he is survived by his 2 Daughters; Debbie (and spouse Kevin) Plummer and Randa Franklin, both of Warsaw,Indiana1 Son; Greg (and spouse Ann) Marsh, Portage, Indianahe was a loving Grandfather to 9 Grandchildren and 2 Great Grandchildren. Services will be held at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw, Indiana on Wednesday, June 17, 2009 at 11:00 am with Pastor Lamar Imes officiating.. Calling hours will be 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00 pm at the funeral chapel on Tuesday, June 16, 2009. Burial will be at Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw, Indiana with military honors by American Legion Post #49 and VFW Post #1126.. McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw, Indiana is in charge of arrangements.
