Clara Faye Wehrly

Clara “Faye” Wehrly, 96, of Pierceton, passed away on Saturday, March 18, 2023 at her residence.

Clara was born on December 4, 1926 in Carthage, Indiana to Lewis and Lillie (Thomas) Donoho and she was united in marriage to Forrest Everett Wehrly on June 3, 1974 in Winona Lake.

She was a homemaker and loved traveling across the USA. She collected pigs and magnets and loved her cats.

Clara will be lovingly remembered by her children Brenda Mellott of Warsaw, Lewis Ersland of Indianapolis, and Robert Ersland of Pireceton, also surviving are two grandchildren. She was preceded in passing by her parents, her husband, a son Hugh Hutchens, and two brothers.

A graveside funeral service in celebration of Clara’s life will begin at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, March 21, 2023 at Pleasant Grove Cemetery with Pastor Larry Burkhart officiating.
