Cindy Pamela Cripe, 62, of Carmel, Indiana, died on 5/24/2010 at 2:45 am at her residence. She was born on November 25, 1947 in Rochester, Indiana. After a courageous nearly two year battle with cancer. Cindy passed away peacefully at her home in Carmel. Cindy was born in Rochester, Indiana and raised in Warsaw, Indiana and graduated from Warsaw Community High School. She received a BA degree from Indiana University and held multiple management positions in both the medical device and telecommunication industries.She was one of four children born to the late Paul and Ruby Conkle and was the beloved wife of Phil Cripe for 28 years. Cindy will forever be remembered by her devoted sisters Lynn Ann Keane and Paula Lamphier, beloved children Tamara Drake, Tyson Johnston, Shelly Magnus and Scott Cripe, treasured grandchildren Andrew and Evan Drake, Natalie, Elise and Audrey Magnus, Caleb and Caitlin Cripe, caring mother-in-law Gladys Cripe, along with countless other friends and family whom were blessed to know her.Cindy touched the lives of many people with her smile and generosity and maintained her trademark of compassion toward others all the way to the end. Services will be held at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw, Indiana on Saturday, June 5, 2010 at 1:00 pm. Calling hours will be 11:00 - 1:00 pm at the funeral chapel on Saturday, June 5, 2010. Burial will be at a later date. McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw, Indiana is in charge of arrangements. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions be sent to Orchard Park Presbyterian Church, 1605 East 106th Street, Indianapolis, Indiana 46280.
