SERVICE UPDATE::

A gathering of family and friends will take place on Saturday, August 19th 2023 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at 452 W Clearwater Drive, Warsaw with a Celebration of Life Service beginning at 12:00 Noon.

Chasity (Chas) Sloderbeck Taylor, 42, of Warsaw, passed away on Sunday, July 30, 2023.

Chas was born on October 8, 1980, in Warsaw. She was the daughter of Rita (Fields) Sloderbeck.

She worked as a librarian for Middlebury and Huntington Libraries. Chas was passionate about reading and writing and was an advocate of social justice. She was involved in fundraisers for both libraries and loved children including her nieces and nephews, as well as many friends.

Chas will be lovingly remembered by her mother Rita, Pops Eddie; nieces and nephews Whitney, Lainey, Grayson, London, Jaya, Destan, Cashton, Khai, Khamari, Lillie, Killian, DJ, Shelby, Benjamin, Alex and Megan; Aunts and Uncles Eddie, Larry, Scott, Mike, Lisa, and Pip; all of her bubbies and baby sisters, as well as “sisters” Sara, Rachel, Shannon, Sheryl, Ashley and her “brother” Drew. She was preceded in passing by her sisters Cherish Morrissette who passed June 24, 2023, and Ashley Sloderbeck, Mama June, and bubby Colby.
