Carolyn L. Williamson (Little)

Carolyn L. Williamson was born on April 25, 1947 to her loving parents William and Earlene (Heagy) Little.

Carolyn began her career as a teller in the banking industry, where her warm smile brightened the days of many customers. Later, her heart led her to become a vet tech in Silver Lake Small Animal Veterinary Clinic in Silver Lake, Indiana, a position that allowed her to care for animals. She spent countless hours rescuing animals, ensuring that they were safe and loved, further demonstrating her generous and giving nature and spending time with her beloved pets over the years. She participated in many dog shows competing in dog agility with her beloved pet Lexie.

Carolyn shared a deep bond with her husband, John Williamson. The two were married on April 16, 1989, on a journey together that would last 35 years until John's passing in 2022.

A longtime member of the First United Methodist Church, Carolyn found immense joy in her church family and the friendships she cultivated there. She relished the times spent with friends attending the Shipshewana Flea Market. She also enjoyed reading thrilling murder mysteries in the quiet of her home.

Carolyn will be remembered for her kindness, her unwavering support of her friends, and the joy she brought to all who knew her.

Survivors include her dear friends, Shelly (Bryan) Sausman of Yellow Creek Lake, Indiana, Tina (Eric) Nellans of Mentone, and many, many other friends whose lives she touched with her warmth and generosity.

She is preceded in death by her husband, brother, sister, and parents.

A private gathering for Carolyn will be held at a later date.
