Brenda J. Peconga

Brenda Peconga, age 61, of Warsaw, IN passed away July 8, 2011 at 2:10 pm in Kosciusko Community Hospital Warsaw, IN. She was born September 10, 1949 in Warsaw, IN to Arnold and Sadie (Hattery) Rhodes. She was resident of Kosciusko County, IN for 26 years. On November 14, 1987 she was united in marriage to Rickey Peconga. Brenda was a homemaker and a former member of the American Legion Auxiliary Post #258 Pierceton, IN. Survivors include her husband Rickey Peconga of Warsaw, IN, daughters Mishelle (spouse Ronnie) Jarrell of Columbia City, IN; Wendy Kline of Milford, IN; Mindy Howard of Kimmel, IN; son Glenn (spouse Martha) Smith of Pierceton, IN; sisters Sharon Miller of Nappanee, IN; Darlene Menzie of Pierceton, IN; Marlene Rhodes of LaPorte, IN; Frieda (spouse Neil) Hinton of Nappanee, IN; brothers Randy (spouse Telona) Rhodes of Syracuse, IN; Carl (spouse Elaine) Rhodes of Middlebury, IN; Jerry (spouse Lisa) Rhodes of Nappanee; 12 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. She was preceded by her parents and one brother. Services will be held in McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw, IN on Tuesday, July 12, 2011 at 12:00 pm. Calling hours are scheduled from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm on Tuesday. Pastor William Whitaker will officiate the services. Interment will be in Hillcrest Cemetery Pierceton, IN.
