Brenda Beck

Brenda K. Beck, 71, unexpectedly went to be with her Lord on Friday, July 14, 2023, at home.

She was born in Warsaw, Indiana on October 2, 1951 to Lester and Geraldine (Zorn) Bays. Brenda graduated from Pierceton High School and went on to attend beauty school.

On August 10, 2002 in their Pierceton home, Brenda married Donald C. Beck.

She worked a motor route for the Times Union Newspaper and co-owner of G & E Locksmith.

Brenda was loving, generous, and loved sharing her words of wisdom, whether you liked it or not. She enjoyed gardening and tending to her pond, being in her sunroom and enjoyed decorating and rearranging her home.

Brenda is survived by her husband, Don of Pierceton, and children: Lonnie Combs of Milford, Sheila (Lee) McFarland of Columbia City and Linda Jarrell of Pierceton; 9 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren; siblings: Rodney Bays, Rick (Martha) Bays and Deeda (Ben) Michael all of Pierceton and Lorrie (Steve) Patrick of Florida as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her son, Ron Jarrell; her parents; and her brothers Roger and Rocky Bays.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 17, 2023 at 12 p.m. at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapels, 105 S. First Street, Pierceton with Pastor James Jacobson officiating. There will not be any visitation prior.

Burial will follow in the Hillcrest Cemetery, Pierceton.
