Blayne A. Woodcock

Blayne A. Woodcock, 51 of Warsaw, Indiana passed away Monday May 16, 2016 at 10:00 p.m. at Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw. He was born on September 14, 1964 to Gerald and Carol (Ripplemeyer) Woodcock in Belleville, Illinois. He was united in marriage on March 15, 1997 to Christy Pennington in Pierceton, Indiana. He worked for Metzger Trucking as a truck driver, and has been a truck driver for 27 years Blayne loved to do demolition derbies with his children and had several trophies. Blayne is survived by his wife, Christy Woodcock of Warsaw; his children, Zach, Josh and Breanna Woodcock all of Warsaw; his sister, Jody Woodcock of Waterloo, Illinois; a grandson, Noah “Papaws boy” Woodcock of Warsaw; two brother-in-law’s “JR” (and spouse Deb) Pennington of Winona Lake and Jake Pennington of Jacksonville, Florida; His parents, Gerald and Carol Woodcock of Waterloo, Illinois; His mother and father in law, Charles and Judy Pennington of Warsaw; a paternal grandmother Lena Woodcock of Waterloo, Illinois. He is preceded in death by his paternal grandfather and his maternal grandparents. A memorial service will be held at Gods Highway to Heaven Church on Saturday May 21, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. with Reverend Robert Brown officiating. No burial is planned. The family is requesting that memorial contributions be made to the Woodcock family c/o McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, 2290 Provident Ct., Warsaw, Indiana 46580.
