Billy R. Wadkins

Billy Ray Wadkins, 66, of Silver Lake passed away on Sunday, March 25, 2018 at 7:01 AM in Visiting Nurse Hospice Home in Fort Wayne. He was born on April 9, 1951 in Prestonsburg, Kentucky to George and Alma (Robinson) Wadkins. On September 28, 1968 he was united in marriage to Donna Gillman who survives. He worked in the agriculture industry for Creighton Brothers retiring in 2014. He is survived by his wife,daughter Leslie (Troy) Hackworth; sons Tommy Wadkins and Justin Wadkins all of Silver Lake. He is also surivied by his sisters; Judy (Mark) Fenton of Warsaw, Mary (Delmer) Estep of Palestine, Maggie Gang of North Manchester and a brother; Jerry (Regina) Wadkins of North Webster. He is further survived by his grandchildren; Amanda Sexton of Silver Lake, Lachelle Hackworth of Silver Lake, Anthony Wadkins of Packerton and Sophie of Packerton, great-grandchildren; Gabrielle Sexton and Landen Sexton both of Silver Lake. He was preceded by his parents; George and Alma Wadkins and brothers; George Wadkins Jr., James E. Wadkins and Charles M. Wadkins. A visitation will be held on Thursday, March 29, 2018 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM in McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel in Warsaw. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 29, 2018 at 1:00 PM in McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel in Warsaw with Pastor Glenn Hall officiating.
