Bill Slone

Bill Slone, 79, of Claypool, Indiana, passed away on Sunday, April 25, 2021 at 6:30 a.m. in Kosciusko Community Hospital. Born April 5, 1942 in Blue River, Kentucky, Bill was the son of Lewis and Allie (Slone) Slone. He was united in marriage to Lois Blanton on September 25, 1961 in Warsaw, Indiana. He worked as a forklift operator for Dalton Foundries for a total of 53 years. Bill is survived by his wife of 59 years, Lois Slone; children, Lori (Dan) Yeiter, Kathy Slone, Tim (Stacie) Slone, Keith Slone; sister, Janice (Carlos) Hall; 15 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by 2 sisters and 9 brothers. A visitation will be from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 29, 2021 at New Hope Free Will Baptist Church,  3651 N. State Rd 15 , Warsaw A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, April 30, 2021 at the church. Pastors David Cripe and Terry Bradford will be officiating the services. Interment will follow in Lakeview Cemetery, Silver Lake. McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw is entrusted with arrangements for the family.
