Beverly A. Johnson

Beverly A. Johnson, 83, of Warsaw, Indiana went home peacefully on March 25, 2011 at 5:28 am with her family by her side at Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw. The daughter of Bob and Dorothy (Hoover) Sweet, she was born on July 10, 1927 in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Beverly was a resident of Warsaw for 62 years. She married her husband of 56 years, Arthur G. Johnson on January 26, 1946 in Fort Wayne. He preceded her in death on March 16, 2003. She was a homemaker who loved her family and her grandchildren immensely. She also enjoyed flowers, being outside and was an avid walker. She also enjoyed bowling and golf and she spent her winters in Naples, Florida.Beverly was a member of Winona Lake Grace Brethren Church. She is survived by three sons, Glynn (and spouse Shelley) Johnson; Tim (and spouse Linda) Johnson; Jeff (and spouse Sandy) Johnson and one daughter, Kris Kindle all of Warsaw. 11 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. She is also preceded in death by a son, Gregory Johnson. Visitation hours will be from 11:00am - 1:00pm on Tuesday, March 29, 2011 at the funeral chapel. Services will be at 1:00 pm Tuesday, March 29, 2011 at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw with Reverend Bruce Barlow officiating. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions to be made to Center of Hope Cancer Center/ KCH, 1520 Provident Drive, Warsaw, Indiana 46580.
