Betty Sexton

Betty Sexton, 74, of Pierceton passed away on November 25, 2020 at 3:04 PM in her residence She was born on May 10, 1946 in Goose Creek, Kentucky to Cecil and Gladys (Osborne) Adkins. She grew up in Kentucky and moved to Indiana at age 18. She married Calvin Sexton in Wise, West Virginia who preceded her in death. As a homemaker she loved quilting, loved her cat Lilly and loved to attend her church, Harvest Community Church in Pierceton. She is survived by her children: Diana Sexton of Plant City, FL, David Adkins of Warsaw, Angela Sexton of Warsaw, Rickey Sexton of Pierceton, Tammy (Mike) Bentley of Pierceton and LaDonna (Daniel) Velasco of Yukon, OK. She is further survived by her siblings: Jewel Shepherd of Wabash, Barbara (Doug) Hicks of Hueysville, KY, Bertha (Roger) Duff of Timberville, VA and Darrell (Teresa) Adkins of Langley, KY. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband; Calvin Sexton, son; Calvin Sexton Jr. and a sister; Bonnie Sexton. A visitation will be held in McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel in Warsaw on Tuesday, December 1, 2020 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM.  A funeral service will be held following the visitation at 1:00 PM with Pastor Glenn Hall officiating. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery in Pierceton.
