Betty M. Leek

Betty M. Leek, 98,of Warsaw passed away Friday July 5 at her daughter’s home.

She was born on January 28, 1926, to John Russell and Lena (Reed) Rose in Warsaw.

She was a lifetime resident of Warsaw.

She retired from Milnot and Associated Milk Products in 1987. She was a laboratory Technician. She also worked for Sun Metal Products before Milnot.

She attended Warsaw High School. Betty Loved doing Crafts, Crocheting, Knitting and baking cakes. She loved making buckeyes for her family. She also taught her grandchildren how to make homemade noodles. As soon as Christmas was over Betty was already buying Christmas gifts for next year. Betty always knew what to give as a gift, she was the best! Also, you never left her house without taking something home with you. Betty would always remind you that she was “98 and a half”.

She is survived by her daughters, Merla (Clark) Smith, Melody (Mike) Feaster and Stacey Leek all of Warsaw, and 10 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren, 8 great-great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded by her parents, 3 brothers, 2 sisters and her twin daughters, Kathy Leek and Kristy Schmitt (October 26, 2023)

Visitation will be held on Wednesday July 10, 2024 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. A funeral service will follow immediately after the visitation at 12:00 Noon. Pastor Glenn Hall will officiate the services.

Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
