Betty Campbell

Betty J. Campbell, 76, passed away unexpectedly in her home on Sunday, September 24, 2023.

Betty was born in Logan County, West Virginia on November 28, 1946 to Obie and Claudia (Mann) Craddock.

She worked for Kimble Glass in Warsaw for over 30 years before retirement, and then began daily cleaning at Warsaw Community Church. A job she thoroughly enjoyed while also being a member of the church.

Betty was stubborn and very independent, but that is what always kept her on the go. She was beyond loving, caring and spunky. If she had a choice of sweets over meals, sugar always won. Betty was a wonderful baker and was known for her peanut butter pie and pumpkin rolls. She also enjoyed watching her grandchildren’s sporting events.

She is survived by her son, Rick (Kimberly) Campbell of Elkhart; 7 grandchildren: Kyle Campbell of Warsaw, Kane Campbell of Warsaw, Justin (Jackie) Foreman of Elkhart, Tyler Foreman of Elkhart, Zach (Jaylin) Foreman of Warsaw, Bryce Bailey of Elkhart and Peyton Craig of Elkhart; 9 great-grandchildren: Kaylee, Robert, Serenity, Brooklyn, Tyler Jr., Kendall, Hunter, Carter and Emberlee. Her siblings include Sue Smith of Lake Wells, FL and Doug (Carolyn) Craddock of Warsaw as well as 2 nieces and 2 nephews.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Clay and Obie, and an infant sibling.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 7, 2023 from 10-12 p.m. at Warsaw Community Church, 1855 S. County Farm Road, Warsaw. Funeral services will follow at 12 noon with Pastor Jeff Pfeifer officiating.

Burial will follow in the Palestine Cemetery in Palestine, Indiana.
