Betty B. Landis

Betty B. Landis, 94 of Warsaw formally of Leesburg passed away Monday, May 18, 2015 at 1:40 p.m. at Millers Merry Manor, Warsaw. She was born on August 26, 1920 to Estell and Mary (Nellens) Bryant in Akron, IN. On May 23, 1942 she married Arthur William “Bud” Landis who preceded her in death in April of 1997. She retired from United Telephone after many years of Service in clerical/ bookkeeping. She is survived by her children, Gary Landis of Warsaw, Phil (and spouse Barbara) Landis of Katy, TX and Janet (and spouse David) Bennett of Reynoldsburg, OH; Grandchildren, Chris, Mike, David, Christie, Erin and Jill; great grandchildren, Taylor, Luke, Preston, Avery and Lukas; also a sister Jean Ellis of Millers Merry Manor, Warsaw. She was preceded in death by a brother David Bryant. There will be a celebration of Betty’s life at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw at a later date. Burial will be private in Nichols Cemetery, Mentone, IN. McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel Warsaw is entrusted to the family for the arrangements.
