Barbara J. Walker

Barbara J. Walker, 83 of Larwill, Indiana passed away Saturday July 28, 2018 at 12:55 p.m. in her residence. She was born on January 4, 1935 to Napoleon and Bernice (Weaver) Tremblay in Detroit, Michigan. Barbara was united in marriage on August 12, 1979 to Darrell Walker in Jackson, Michigan. She graduated from All Saints Catholic Church and School, Detroit, Michigan. She was a bookkeeper and Secretary for Symm Duck Farm and Kelly Services as an Office Personnel Replacement. She retired in 1998. She was a member of the choir at Troy, Michigan and Pierceton Presbyterian Church, also a Deacon at the Pierceton Presbyterian Church. She sang at many Church Cantatas. Barbara is survived by her husband, Darrell Walker of Larwill, Indiana; her children, Maria Belcher, Howell, Michigan, Clark Trombley, Columbia City, Indiana. Cynthia Derby, Larwill, Indiana, Michael, Trombley, Fort Worth, Texas, Lori Trombley, Ypsilanti, Michigan and Logan Trombley, Warsaw, Indiana; her Siblings, Winnifred Stephens, Mancelona, Michigan, Carol Allred, Lincolnton, North Carolina, Delores Tremblay, Wilfred Tremblay and Deborah Strine all of Mancelona, Michigan; 18 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and 2 sisters. She always had a fun-loving personality. She loved a good meal, a good game of cards and a good laugh, even if it was at her own expense! She was a good friend, a caring mother and a devoted wife. A private celebration of Barbara’s life with family and friends will take place at a later date. Pastor Chris Thereau will officiate the Celebration of Life. McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw is entrusted to the family for the arrangements.
