Barbara J. Vollmer, 88, of Leesburg, Indiana, died on 7/13/2010 at 5:30 am at Mason Heathcare Center, Warsaw, Indiana. She was born on October 20, 1921 in Leesburg, Indiana. Barbara was born to Garland and Snowden (Harley) Robison. She married Maynard E. Vollmer on August 18, 1950 who survives.She graduated from International Business College, Fort Wayne and was a 32 year Co-Owner (with her husband) of Maynard's Men's Shop, North Manchester, Indiana. After retirement, she was a volunteer aide at Leesburg Elementary School.Barbara was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church, Warsaw, Indiana.She is also survived by 3 daughters; Christine (and spouse Charles) Jones, Markle, IndianaAmy (and spouse Michael) Isenberg, Fort Wayne, IndianaRuth (and spouse Thomas) LaSalle, Leesburg, Indiana6 grandchildren; Jennifer (and spouse Blake) Legge-English, Evansville, IndianaJonathan Isenberg and Erica Isenberg, both of Fort Wayne, IndianaBetsy LaSalle, Chicago, IllinoisKatie LaSalle and Alex LaSalle, both of Leesburg, Indiana1 sister; Sue (and spouse Gene) Arthur, Norwalk, Ohio1 brother; Harley “Bud” Robison, Leesburg, Indiana Funeral service will be privately held and not open to the public. Burial will be at Leesburg Cemetery, Leesburg, Indiana. McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw, Indiana is in charge of arrangements.
