Barbara J. Hill

Barbara J. Hill, 80 of Warsaw, Indiana passed away on Sunday, October 20, 2013 at 9:10 a.m. in Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw. She was born on July 14, 1933 to C.W. Moore and Pearl (Hamilton) Moore in Sledge, Mississippi. She married William W. Hill on December 20, 1952 in Gary, Indiana. She graduated from Treadwell High School in 1951 in Memphis, Tennessee.She worked for Clausing Corporation from 1951 to 1979. She retired from Dalton Corporation as a financial operations department from 1979 to 1995 both in Warsaw. She was an active member of the Trinity United Methodist Church, WarsawShe was a member of the YMCA (WIA) Water Aerobics, Volunteering for several organizations. Barbara is survived by her brother James E. (and spouse Carole) Moore of Goshen, Indiana; sisters Margaret Dubois of Bowling Green, Virginia and Jane Carmon of Memphis, Tennessee; One step-brother and two step-sisters of Memphis, Tennessee and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, October 23, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. in Leesburg Cemetery, Leesburg, Indiana with Pastor Dave Hummel officiating. Calling will be 2 hours prior to the service on Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the funeral chapel.The family request that the memorial contribution is to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.P.O.
